Joan Duveen

Workshop title

Point-energetic aspects of chong mai

Workshop times

Sunday 11.30-16.00

Workshop description

In this lecture Joan Duveen will present some important chong mai points. They will be discussed from a variety of perspectives and on a profound level. Joan will illustrate the energetic aspects of these points from an eastern classical and philosophical knowledge basis. The lecture will draw on teachings from the Su Wen, Ling Shu, Nan Jing, Mai Jing, French acupuncture schools and studies with JD van Buren Dr (China), and on Joan’s own clinical experience, work that has spanned over 40 years.

Joan was inspired to teach this lecture as a result of requests from students for more insights in this topic and has now led sessions such as these for over ten years. He hopes that this lecture will help delegates gain more insight into treatment strategies.
