Workshop description

This workshop highlights the importance of well-organised acupuncture records, to aid continuity of care and ensure good practice. Through a range of presentations, discussions, and case scenarios it highlights the importance of accurate and up-to-date acupuncture records for both patient care and professional defence. This workshop aims to provide you with a greater understanding of why medical records are important, principles of good record keeping and learn legal and professional requirements for records.

Speaker biography

Jane works with the British Acupuncture Council in the role of Head of Professional Standards. Jane has almost eleven years’ experience in the legal and regulatory world and is a non-practising barrister. She has worked primarily in the regulatory field – both statutory and voluntary. Since joining the BAcC Jane has dealt with all matters relating to professional conduct specifically the complaints process.
