Workshop title

The 12 steps of recovery: how working the steps can transform you and your acupuncture practice.

Workshop times

Sunday 11.30 13.00

Workshop description

In this fun, lively and brutally honest session Deb Connor will walk us through the 12 steps of recovery and describe how everyone can benefit from working the steps. She will describe how transformation is always possible; regardless of what we are addicted to, be it food, alcohol or drugs. She will outline the subtle addiction to a pattern of thinking that many acupuncturists, particularly those at the start of their practice share – the belief that you cannot be financially secure as a self-employed practitioner.

Understanding and implementing the 12 steps can be a fabulous way for acupuncturists to take their practice or business to that next level and release the ‘addiction’ to failure or low income. If you work with addicts in recovery or you are prepared to admit you are addicted to something, learning more about the 12 steps is a must.
