Workshop title

Nature and Health

Workshop times

Saturday 1630 - 1800

Workshop description

With the environment suffering from so many threats, it is vital to understand how deeply humans are supported by contact with the natural world. This has long been understood both in the nourishment of life tradition and in Chinese medicine, which is almost entirely framed in terms of natural phenomena.

This presentation will look at the Daoist perspective (that we are an inseparable part - rather than rulers - of nature), will explore the extraordinary research that reveals how intimately our health and wellbeing are linked to the natural world, and suggest simple practical ways we can feed our body-mind-spirit (and that of our patients).
