Conference time is on the horizon once again, with the British Acupuncture Council all set to bring you Hundred Meetings at Wokefield Park, Reading, on the weekend of 22 to 24 September.
As you will see, with sponsorship support from Dong Bang Acuprime we have created an international theme with eminent and emerging speakers from the UK and around the globe. Between them, our twenty-eight speakers will cover a wide range of acupuncture and oriental medicine topics, so there is sure to be something to tempt you no matter what your personal interest or speciality.
However, I am not just welcoming you to a series of lectures. A conference is more than that: it is a place to meet friends, old and new, to share ideas, debate with passion, and to smile and learn: it is a place where a party night dance can create a year of learning opportunities with an ‘acupuncture guru’ who prior to the conference seemed so remote: it is a place to find new ideas, new technology, and new contacts among trade colleagues and experts from outside our profession.
Quite simply, Hundred Meetings is shaping up to be the personal and professional development opportunity of the year.
I look forward to seeing you there in September.
